Considering your age you may be wondering if there is a chance of developing acne. The treatment of acne will hopefully advance as researchers develop new drugs to tackle the condition. Older medications, especially the topical treatments would then be replaced with alternatives. Acne can be very trying at the best of times so it is very easy to see why sufferers may want to try just about anything to try and alleviate the condition. Of course, this is not the way to go and any acne sufferer should firstly make an appointment to visit their medical practitioner who will be in a better position to assess the individual needs of the patient. Whatever you do, don't go out and just buy medicine for the sake of doing so without first having your condition correctly assessed. There are many sufferers with acne so you are not isolated and with the right acne medication or acne medicine, your condition has every chance of improving for the better.
